Veggie Soup

I made the soup for lunch.

(At Uncle Jeff's house Anneke picked veggies from his garden for the purpose of making soup. She talked about making it with her best friend, but poor Madi is sick. Anneke peeled, cut and diced it all herself. It tasted pretty good. She had zucchini, carrots, peas, green beans and green onions.)

It is interesting that she had the basis of soup no matter where you go - carrots and onions. In France and Italy the is 'Trinity' celery, onion and carrots but in the Southern USA it is Bell peppers, onion and carrots. As I was reading the ingredient list, it sounded like a really good soup. I am proud of her. It looks like she might have natural eye when it comes to cooking.
