School Party

Anneke - I went to a Halloween party. Marcus did, too. I wanted my baby brother, Luke to come. I'm a fairy ballerina. The earrings and necklace are my mom's. The wings I got from the Renaissance festibal and my mom said she didn't want them to get ruined. AND I wanted to say I go to church. I watched a movie where a pig had to find bees. Okay?

Marcus - At my party I had peanut butter eye balls, (Anneke interrupted to say,"Marcus, Guess what? I had chocolate strawberries.") and I also had black cats. I had ghost cookies, green cupcakes annnnnnnd I also had sugar cookies with different colored sprinkles. I saw four other vampires, um, I believe three witches, a couple of Batmen (mans?). The kindergarten kids had a LOUD parade and I tried to say 'Hi' to Anneke but she didn't hear me. (Anneke said, "I heared you but I couldn't find you.") There was another vampire in the same costume contest and we tied for first place. My mom came to my party, well, actually, my NICE mom came to my party. I brought cucumber slices to the party and gave away sticky and stretchy rats.

Sandcastle

Anneke -

I made this sand castle with my mom. And I dunked water on it and she said I'll need lots and lots of sand and water. The flowers are the windows and the pipe cleaner is the flag and the door is a piece of paper. And those are my school clothes. I actually want to say that me/I went to school and then I came back and me and my mom made the sandcastle and I used one of our watering cans to pour the water. I was so excited to build it. My mom said if we had this as our activity today I would have had to change. (Mom note: She is supposed to change out of her school clothes for the purpose. I don't remember saying much about it, but apparently she knew she should have changed first.)

Hot Air Balloon

Marcus -

"I drew this picture in art. I am in the basket. I am wearing red because I could not find the brown. Down below the balloon is a circus. The triangle is the tent and the line is a roller coaster. I drew the happy face and everybody thought it was funny. The art teacher said that it was a good picture 3 times."

Marcus was very excited about this picture. He couldn't wait to post it.

My wings

Anneke -

I got wings at the festibal yesterday. I love them. They are beautiful. I wanted you to know.

I want to be a missionary

Marcus -

I drew this during General Conference. It is a picture of me when I grow up as a missionary. In the background there is the United States with Hawaii down below.

When I grow up I want to be a missionary . I think teaching the gospel would be fun. David O. McKay said "Every member a missionary."

Anneke's homework

Anneke does not have a lot of patience when it comes to homework. It takes time out of her life where she could be dancing or playing. (I would say singing, but she does that while she works anyway.) I give you exhibit A:

She made this family picture in about 10 minutes including writing all her family members names. I know she wasn't trying because...I give you exhibit b:
